NEW CLIENT INFORMATION

Our Fee

Our annual fee is £210.00. We accept payments by direct bank transfer and cheque.

This fee is for the completion and submission of one tax return and the collation and preparation of supporting documentation. Necessary documents and information can either be sent to us throughout the tax year or all in one batch, whichever is easier for you.
Registering with us

When you register with us, please be aware that we will ask you for certain forms of identification. This is to comply with HMRC's Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. Our registration number is 12921180.

It's easy to register;

1. Click on the link to open our New Client Form which must be completed and returned to us by post.

2. Please read the ID Checklist carefully. Your chosen documents can be scanned in and emailed to us. Please ask our advice if you are  unsure of what we need.

3. You need to complete HMRC's form 64-8 'Authorising your Agent' and   return it to us by post. This gives us authorisation to act on your behalf with  HMRC regarding your self assessment tax return.

Other Useful Forms

HMRC's SA1. If you are not registered with HMRC for self assessment, you will need to complete this form before you do anything else. HMRC will then issue your UTR (unique tax reference) and register you for self assessment.

HMRC's R43M(SED). If you are non-resident in the UK but reside in the EEA and think that you may have a claim, you must complete this form.

How to Keep Us Updated

Please remember that we are only as good as the information you provide us with. It is vital that you keep us up to date with your travels, plans and financial matters that are relevant to the Self Assessment Tax Return. In return, we will do our best to keep you tax free, or at least tax minimised!

Because we love the environment, we aim to be as paper free as possible so an emailed update is perfect. If you need to send documents by post, please only send copies and be sure to keep all original documents in a safe and secure place.

Documents that we need to keep your records up to date include;

  • Discharge Book

  • Air tickets

  • Ferry tickets

  • Hotel bills

  • Freeboard logs

  • P60 and/or P45 for each employer

  • Statement of income from your employer if you are not taxed at source.

  • Payslips or bank transfer statements can be used if necessary.

  • With regard to investment income and property income, we are happy to work from a statement or work through dividend vouchers etc if you prefer.

  • Receipts for expenses on rental properties.

If you keep your own spreadsheet, you can also email this to us. The more information that you send, the better.
